Thank you for purchasing our Premium PayPal Manager plug-in. If you have any questions that are beyond the scope of this help file, please feel free to post a message on our offical codecanyon plug-in page.
Thanks so much!
Premium Paypal Manager was designed for small to medium sized businesses who have a small catalogue of items they wish to sell online. This plugin is ideal for anyone who has a small inventory count in the range of 20-200 products which is manageable through WordPress. If you have a larger inventory count then this plug-in probably wont suit your needs. For a larger inventory count we recommend using a hosted service such as BigCommerce.
Premium Paypal Manager was also designed with donations in mind so you can setup multiple donation options or allow visitors to enter their own donation amount.
From the WordPress admin screen select the "Add New" option under the "Plugins" tab from the admin sidebar.
On the Install Plugins screen select the "Upload" page, then press the "Browse" button and locate the premium-paypal-manager.zip file from your local hard drive and then click on the "Install Now" button. After this wait about 10-15 seconds for the plugin to unpack and install.
If all has gone well you should next see a message similar to that in the image below. From this point you can activate the plugin or return the plugins page and activate it from there.
Once the plugin has been activated you will notice a new top level admin post type labelled "Premium Paypal Manager". You are now ready to start adding as many Paypal products or donations as you'd like.
The following is an overview of the Premium Paypal Manager General Settings.
Under "Paypal Settings" you can configure your Paypal settings for selling products or accepting donations. Each field has a tooltip question mark icon which explains what the field does when you hover over it. You can also enable Sandbox mode on this page which will allows you to send payments to your Paypal sandbox merchant account. If you would like to setup a Paypal sandbox to test your orders before going live please visit this link: https://developer.paypal.com/webapps/developer/applications/accounts
You can create a new Paypal Item by selecting the "Add New Paypal Item" option under the Premium Paypal Manager post type tab. Each Paypal item is created as a custom post type and self generates a shortcode id so you can quickly copy and paste the newly created Paypal item anywhere in your website. The shortcode box appears a grey box just above the wordpress editor, see image below:
There are several custom meta boxes available for the Paypal post type. These meta boxes allow you to configure your Paypal item as either a Paypal product or a Paypal donation.
Payment Type meta box:
Use this select list to set your Paypal item either a Product or Donation
Product options meta box:
Use the Availability select list to set your Paypal item to either "In Stock", "Out of Stock", "Not Available" or "Pre-Order".
Use the Product Code field to enter the product code or SKU number associated with your item. Note: this can be left blank if not needed.
Donation Options meta box:
If your Paypal item payment type has been set to "Donation" then you can use the following meta box to configure donation options.
The "Show Other Amount" select list enables an amount textfield allowing visitors to enter their donation amount. The "Amount placeholder" field is the text that will appear inside the amount textfield.
Payment options meta box:
Your Paypal products or donations can have up to 6 payment options. If more than one payment option is inserted than the Paypal item will display a select list to visitors allowing the visitor to select their desired payment option.
Each payment option can be displayed with text preceeding the price or just a price.
Additional options:
Your Paypal products can be categorized and tagged making it easier to manage your products through the WordPress admin. You can also set a "Featured image" for your product or donation.

Watch the following video for a complete walkthrough of the Premium Paypal Manager plugin.
Premium Paypal Manager can be translated to your language of choice by editing the .po file located in the plugin's languages folder. The .po file is labelled pmLocalization.po and can be opened and edited with POEdit - you can download POEdit here. Once you have inserted your translations and saved the file a .mo file will also be generated - the .mo file should match the same file name as the .po file.
You will also have to define your language in the wp-config.php file located on your server. The following line of code should be added to your wp-config.php file:
define ('WPLANG', 'en_EN');
You will have to update/change the 'en_EN' to match your language code which you can find on the offical WordPress languages page here
